Abstract:

Unique and reliable source of yearly statistical data on imports and exports in OECD countries, selected non OECD countries, as well as in the OECD main country groupings. It provides detailed data in value (thousands USD) and quantity by commodities and by partner countries. ITCS contains 5 databases which differ according to the classification used and the length of the time series: SITC Revision 2 (Standard International Trade Classification, United Nations Statistical papers, 1976) - data from 1961; SITC Revision 3 (Standard International Trade Classification, United Nations Statistical papers, 1986) - data from 1991; Harmonised System (Harmonised System, 1988 version - data from 1990 to 2000, Harmonised System, 1996, data from 1996); and Total Trade and Trade Conversion Factors - data from 1991).
