  • Europa - Information on the European Union; a service from the European Commission.
  • The Euro - The official EU website on the Euro includes documents, legislation, links to other websites, and a search engine.
  • European Central Bank - The website of the successor to the European Monetary Institute, responsible for supervision of the single currency, contains statistical documents and other studies and reports, as well as links to other websites.
  • EURO Birth - Complete with flying stork, this site boasts a map of "Euroland," as well as a calculator toconvert various currencies into Euros. Euro-Indicators.
  • EuroStat - Statistical Office of the European Communities
  • Euro-Indicators - From Eurostat, the Statistical Office, this site furnishes up-to-date Euro-related economic indicators for the 11 participating member-states, comparing these with data for all 15 member-states.
  • SCADPlus: Economic and Monetary Union - SCADPlus is a database containing overviews of EU single market legislation and policies. When you arrive at SCADPlus, go down to "European Union Policies." Click on "Summaries and legislative follow-up." Then, under "Union Policies," click on "Economic and Monetary Union."
  • Eur-Op News: Economic and Monetary Union - On the website of the EU's Office for Official Publications, this location contains an overview of information, documentation, and links relating to the Euro and EMU.
  • Directorate General II: Economic and Financial Affairs - The DG responsible for EMU issues has placed the Euro Papers and other important documents and data on its website.
  • Directorate General XV: Internal Market and Financial Services - This DG'S site on EMU furnishes several salient documents on the Euro.
  • Directorate General XXIV: Consumer Policy and Consumer Health Protection - This DG's site on the Euro contains some unique documents from the European consumer's perspective.
  • European Investment Bank
  • EUROPARL - This is the European Parliament's website. The "EP and Euro: Practical Guide for the Press" site provides links to EP actions concerning the Euro.
  • EUR-Lex - This EU legislative website provides free access to the full text of the most recent 45 days of the L (legislation) and C (communications, notices, proposed legislation, etc.) versions of the Official Journal, to full-text (excluding long or complicated annexes) EU legislation in force, and to full-text EU treaties. Of course, it also provides access to EU legislation on the Euro, including the fixing of conversion rates.

  • FAO WAICENT - The World Agricultural Information Centre - is FAO's strategic programme on information management and dissemination. Using Internet technologies, WAICENT provides access to FAO's data and information. WAICENT also provides specialised information systems on topics of global relevance, such as Desertification, Gender and Sustainable Development, Food Standards, Animal Genetic Resources, Post-Harvest Operations, Agro-Biodiversity and Food Systems in Urban Centres.
