The IFC Library's collection supports the information needs of the IFC; consisting predominantly of periodicals and trade journals, with a supporting collection of monographs and reference materials.  The major subject areas include Business & Finance, Capital Markets, Foreign Investment and Privatization. The Library's Collection Development Policy (PDF) was last revised in November 2000.

The Library also maintains an annual reports collection of selected domestic and international companies.

Most of the materials circulate with the exception of the reference materials and a small collection of materials restricted to IFC staff only.

The Library is open to all World Bank Group and IMF staff members.
