Remote Access to the Library Network's Electronic Resources

Our services support staff's business activities. Because of copyright and licensing agreements, access to electronic resources is available only for active staff of:

World Bank Group

World Bank staff should have a securID and have made the necessary preparations to work remotely.

Using a non-WB machine:

  1. In a web browser, go to https://access.worldbank.org and log into the Bank network
    *If you get a citrix client file security window, choose Full Access and Never ask me again.
  2. In the same browser window, go to http://library.worldbankimflib.org
  3. You should now see the Library Network's internal home page and be able to access the library's licensed e-journals, e-books, and databases.
Using a WB-issued machine:
  1. From the desktop, open the folder called Remote Access
  2. Launch the E360 client (application)
  3. log in to the Bank network
  4. In the same browser window, go to http://library.worldbankimflib.org

IFC

IFC staff should have a securID and have made the necessary preparations to work remotely.

Using a non-IFC machine:

  1. In a web browser, go to https://ifcecitrix.ifc.org
  2. Log into the IFC network
  3. In the same browser window, go to http://library.worldbankimflib.org
  4. You should now see the Library Network's internal home page and be able to access the library's licensed e-journals, e-books, and databases.
Using an IFC-issued machine:
  1. In a web browser, go to https://ssl.ifc.org/
  2. Log into the IFC network
  3. In the same browser window, go to http://library.worldbankimflib.org

IMF

Using a Fund-issued device

Option 1:  Pulse Secure for Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN)

  • Click Start.
  • Go to All Programs > Remote Access Services > Pulse Secure.
  • Log in with your username, password, and SecurID passcode.

Option 2: Citrix

  • Both web-based and regular Citrix clients are already installed on all Fund standard computers set up for remote access.
  • Type https://remote.imf.org on your browser.
  • Log in with your username, password, and SecurID passcode.

Using your personal device

Citrix

After logging in to the Fund network,

  • Open a web browser.
  • Select the Library Network from the IMF intranet home page OR enter the following URL: http://library/.

Now you should see the Library Network web site and be able to access our licensed electronic information services.
