Countries A - CCountries D- ICountries J - MCountries N - SCountries T - ZThis guide provides the staffs of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank with a tool to simplify access to the Joint Bank-Fund Library's (Joint Library's) collection of annual reports of central banks, monetary authorities, and related institutions. The guide is arranged alphabetically by country. Under each country's name is the name of the central bank, the title of its annual report, and the call number of the report. If the bank has a site on the World Wide Web its URL (Uniform Resource Locator) i.e. its address, is listed. However, absence of a URL does not necessarily mean that the bank has no web site. Whenever more than one name is listed for a central bank, the name that appears first is the preferred name. If the title of an annual report is not listed for a country, the Joint Library had none in its collection when the guide was prepared.
References to the annual reports may be found in JOLIS (Joint Libraries and Information System), the information system of the 15 libraries in the Joint Bank-Fund Library Network. Several strategies may be used to search for these annual reports in JOLIS. One method is to search by the title and the author of the annual report. Please note that the central bank is the author (i.e. the corporate author) of each report. The JOLIS record will display the date of each annual report that the Joint Library has in its collection.
Of course you may also click on any URL listed in this electronic guide since each is linked to a central bank's web site. Printed copies of this guide may be requested from the Joint Library.

You may subscribe to Central Bank Bulletin, an electronic mailing list on the Internet, published by the Center for the Study of Central Banks at New York University Law School. The Central Bank Bulletin is for central banks, finance ministries, bank regulators, scholars, and other interested persons around the world. It is a forum for discussion of issues related to central banks and facilitates the establishment of contacts. It may be used to announce conferences, publications, and other events of interest to subscribers.
