The Joint Bank-Fund Language Services Library (LS) takes over the resources and services of the former BLS Library which was merged in August 2001. The main goal is to have a comprehensive collection of documentation that will serve as a tool for translators, revisers, and interpreters, helping them minimize time while improving quality and standardizing Fund translation output. Dictionaries, encyclopedias and monographs in various languages including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish constitute the bulk of the collection.
